Is it in stock?

How do Bora extractors work?

Bora are the German inventors of the first all-in-one downdraft hob system in 2007 and have spend years engineering the airflow and efficiency of the motors and the ducting, as well as creating the most intuitive and powerful induction cooktops.  

They are the market leaders and head and shoulders above the downdraft hob competition, while still remaining competitively priced.

Pure or X-Pure?

Pure is 76cm wide with 4 fixed induction zones, and central round extractor.

X-Pure is  83cm wide with full surface induction zones, so you can put multiple pans anywhere on the glass and the hob will recognise their size and send power to just that area. It also has a 'bridging' function to turn one side of the hob into one large cooking zone for large pans/trays.

Ducted or Recirculating?

If ducting out to an external wall is possible in your property, it is worth doing for a small extra cost. Often run under a new concrete floor for an island, or straight out the wall behind the hob. 

If this is not possible, the recirculating carbon filters provide an unbeatable level of odour and moisture removal from the air before letting it trickle back into the room.

Professional or Classic?

Professional 3.0 and Classic 2.0 are both modular hob sets. Choose your type of cooking modules to go either side of the extractor, induction, teppanyaki, gas, wok.

Professional offers maximum cooking space, with a full length motorised automatic extractor, and control dials mounted on the front of your units.

Classic has a similar extractor grille down the middle, with touch slider control in front of the extractor on the glass top to control your cooking modules.

Teppanyaki?

A teppanyaki / hot plate/ plancha is a flat stainless steel cooking surface which you cook food directly on.

Available with the Classic or Professional, Its a fantastic addition to your kitchen. Searing steaks, blistering padron peppers, whole fish, vegetables, even pancakes! There's no end to the ease of cooking, and cleaning it up is easy too, whilst warm with a bit of lemon juice or soapy water and kitchen paper.
